April is Add an Altrusan MonthJoin us on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00 P.M. we will be awarding our 22nd annual Volunteer of the Year winner. This winner is selected from a large field of Non-Profit local organizations. in 2025, the winner was Deb Smith from Maine Senior Games.
Come and meet the winner for 2026, meet Altrusans and learn how we serve the community. We read to and give Brand New FOREVER books to over 3000 Kindergarten kiddos each year, we provide annual scholarships to area schools, we cook up meals at Ronald McDonald House, to name a few of our passion projects. I'm sure we have something that may fulfill your need to serve. We meet twice a month. The 1st Wednesday of the month is our Business meeting. The 3rd Wednesday of the month is our Program meeting over dinner. We typically have a Keynote speaker for these meetings. |

Books-A-Million sponsors bookdrives for us. This enables us to bring Brand new FOREVER books and give to each K-student in all elementary schools in the Greater Portland area.
